What the cloud actually buys you
Your accounts stop living on one machine at the counter. You can open them from the shop computer, from your phone at home, or from a site, and it is the same live data rather than a copy. Backups happen automatically instead of when somebody remembers. A stolen or failed computer costs you the hardware and nothing else. And there is no installation, no licence key and no local dealer to call when something needs updating — improvements arrive without anyone visiting.
The network objection, answered honestly
Power cuts and dead signal are real, and software that stops when the connection does is not usable in most of India. The Android app records bills, receipts and deliveries offline and syncs when coverage returns, with no queue for you to manage. What genuinely needs a connection is anything that has to reach the server live — sending a WhatsApp message, or seeing what a staff member recorded at another branch two minutes ago. Everything at your own counter carries on.
Two branches, one account
Cloud is what makes a second location simple. It runs under the same account with its own stock and its own billing, staff at each branch see only their own, and you see both together. There is no second installation, no second licence and no attempt to reconcile two sets of books at month end. The same applies to a supervisor billing from a site — he is not on a separate system, he is on yours.
Your data stays yours
Parties, items, bills, ledgers and stock all export to Excel whenever you ask, on the free plan as well as the paid ones. There is no export lock, which is the trap that makes leaving some software impossible without re-typing years of history. Data is held on managed servers with automatic backups, and account deletion is available on request through the published process.
Moving from desktop software you already have
Shops on a desktop billing system usually stay on it long past the point it stopped serving them, because moving looks harder than it is. In practice you need three things out of the old system: your item list, your party list, and each party's current outstanding balance. Export those to Excel, or send us what you have — a Tally export, a spreadsheet, even photographs of the register — and our team brings them in during setup. You do not migrate years of old bills; the old system keeps them for reference and the new ledger starts from today's correct balances. Most shops are billing on the same day they start.
